The Rolex Submariner Watch

What is great about the Rolex Submariner model line is how versatile it is. The Rolex Submariner can be used for both casual and formal wear. A Rolex Submariner watch will go just as well with an Armani suit as it will with a diver’s suit. The Rolex Submariner watch uses a 31 jewel automatic Chronometer COSC certified Swiss made movement. In between the solid 901L stainless steel case is the trip-lock winding crown of the Submariner. The trip-lock crown features three dots that represent this Triplock water seal feature. The crystal on the Rolex Submariner watch, like all modern Rolex watches, utilizes a synthetic sapphire crystal that is highly scratch resistant.

The standard bracelet on the Rolex Submariner is the Rolex patented oyster bracelet featuring a flip-lock clasp to insure that watch does not dislodge while being worn. In addition, the bracelet features a diver’s extension that unfolds as needed for use on the wrist when wearing a wet suit. The Rolex Submariner watch is guaranteed by Rolex to a pressure proof depth of 300 meters or 1000 feet. The Rolex Submariner also features a revolving time elapse bezel that can only be turned counter-clock wise. The use of the rotating Submariner bezel offers additional security during the various stages of the dive.
