IWC Spitfire UTC

Spitfire UTC or Fliegeruhr UTC is a mechanical automatic winding pilot's watch. It uses the IWC caliber 30710, which has 44-hour autonomy. It is shock resistant and antimagnetic according to NICHS 91-10 standards. It functions at 28,800 vph. The standard functions include hour, minute, second, date, second time-zone time and 24hour.

t comes in brushed 3-piece case made of stainless steel with a diameter of 39mm and a thickness of 13.5mm. It has additional ductile iron inside of the curved case for magnetic field deviation with very thick sapphire crystal and is depressurization-resistant to 6atm (60m). It comes with screwed down crown and screw on back.

The black or silvered dial comes with luminescent Arabic numerals and baton markers in rhodium-plated brass. This is accompanied by luminescent lozenge hands also in rhodium-plated brass. The hour hand is adjustable independently but pulling the crown out at an intermediate notch.

The indications of this piece include date at 3, with second time-zone time under 12. It comes with crocodile leather strap and fold-over clasp with safety pusher.

Other available versions come in silvered Spitfire or black Classic dial with bracelet.
